The award that boosts companies
The SME of the Year Award is an award whose objective is to recognize the performance of small and medium-sized companies whose activity, in addition to their business, is to create employment and generate wealth.
They are held every year, and this one in particular is of special mention, because of the need to recognize the courage of decisions in a time of change after the pandemic.
In each province, in addition to the “SME of the Year” award, four runners-up prizes are awarded: Internationalization, Digitalization and Innovation, Training and Employment, and Responsible Business.
Responsible Company runner-up
Mariscos Apolo, has obtained its award as SME of the Year 2021, in the Responsible Company category.
On Wednesday, October 13, Manuel Alcaide, on behalf of Congelados Apolo S.L. received it from the Chamber of Commerce of Granada.
This has been achieved thanks to Apolo’s commitment to society, support to culture, through a Foundation: Anita Avila Museum, cession of food to institutions of all kinds, implementation of an energy efficiency project, including the installation of photovoltaic panels and even the construction and cession to the City Council of Loja of a WWTP.
All this has been possible thanks to our team and daily work.
