Mariscos Apolo has attended for the seventh consecutive year to the largest fair of frozen products held at European level, Conxemar, and once again there has been able to endorse its good position in the sector, leading part of the recovery that is also beginning to be noticed in the frozen industry.
The figures of the brand from Lojeña speak for themselves: sales have increased by 40% compared to the previous year; it has 4 million kilos of products and its employees already number 130. To this we must add the new expansion project that plans to extend the space it currently occupies in Granada, reaching more than 30,000 square meters.
Good news, therefore, that endorse the presence of Apolo in this important fair where it is finally proved that the frozen food sector is taking off again.
From Mariscos y Congelados Apolo, the intention is to return to Vigo next year. One of the great advantages of this visit is that producers, suppliers and distributors can exchange there their great knowledge about the industry, as well as the advances and details of everything related to frozen products, from data on fishing activity to labeling or new machinery.
Also, of course, this fair helps companies such as Apolo to make themselves known among Spanish individuals and chains, thus increasing the excellent positioning they already have. So much so that in this edition we have already been able to close quite a few orders for Christmas that have as protagonists the white shrimp and octopus.
Conxemar has surpassed itself this year by achieving 3% more visits with professionals from 105 different countries. Being able to make contacts is one of the great attractions of this fair.
Portugal, France and Holland, among many other countries, have visited Vigo and, according to the organization, the data confirm that the International Fair of Frozen Seafood Products continues to be the leader in the European market. In fact, for the next edition, the fair has requested an extension of 5,000 square meters of the IFEVI space in which it is held.
