Next Monday July 11th begins the 8th edition of the Al Andalus Ultimate Trail race.
A race of 5 stages and 130 kilometers that runs through the Poniente Granadino, with descents and ascents of up to 7,200 meters and an extreme heat of between 35 and 45 ºC.
This year in Congelados Apolo we wanted to be part of this exciting adventure that brings together lovers of ultra-races from various parts of the world such as Holland, Belgium, New Zealand, Denmark, Norway, Ireland, United States, South Africa and Spain among others.
In the last edition of the Al Andalus Ultimate Trail, our countryman Mauricio Lobato managed to take the title of male champion with a time of 20 hours, 2 minutes and 11 seconds, beating the next podium in 30 minutes. A champion!
Congelados Apolo, always in its eagerness to support healthy lifestyle habits and sport in our region, we have not hesitated and we wanted to be part of the Al Andalus Ultimate Trail to continue for many more years and we can continue to enjoy in the Poniente Granadino of sporting events of such high level.
