A date marked in blue as the sea in our calendar is approaching. 2009, that was the year in which Mariscos Apolo attended for the first time to be in the frozen fish fair Conxemar. What is presented as the activity of greatest cultural interest in Vigo is today closer to its opening date. Today, 8 years later, Apolo continues to be a reference in the market and is proud to participate again.
What it means for Vigo
Galicia has more similarities with Andalusia than we think. Both regions represented perhaps the most humble parts of the country. In Galicia, and especially in cities like Vigo, fish has meant a lot. It has saved many families and given birth to a very rich fishing culture that has its origins in scarcity. A scarcity that could be such in many aspects, but never was in the aspects related to the environment.
Nowadays Conxemar is the main tourist attraction of the city. The week in which this fair is celebrated, the hotel occupation exceeds any figure that can be given in summer.
More than 600 companies from more than a hundred countries come from all over the world. It might seem that it will be difficult to stand out. We will remain the same.

Why participate?
At Apolo we don’t want to miss the fair any year. This is because the fair brings together all the parties that make up this sector for which we all bet. This sector that we love so much, the seafood sector.
Last year, thanks to our attendance, our catalog was expanded. Business opportunities can be opened both to distribute and to incorporate quality products.
On display for all to see
This year’s fair will be the ninth in a row. This shows that we are still among the best. Many years have passed since a company from Lojeña was the first in the province of Granada to sell frozen fish and seafood.
We will be at stand J 14, in IFEVI. The Instituto Ferial de Vigo is located next to the city’s airport, at number 772 Avenida do Aeroporto, in Vigo, province of Pontevedra.

It will take place on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 October from 10 am to 6 pm. On Thursday 5 the schedule will be from 10 am to 4 pm.
