On March 28th, 29th and 30th, the eleventh Loja Tapa Fair was held in the town where our company was born and where it is maintained, a gastronomic event of the first order for the municipality and for the province. We don’t need to remind you how important the culture of the tapa is for Granada, nor do we need to tell you how much we like to be involved in this event as distributors of frozen products for the hotel and catering industry. A good tapa is the best thing in the world! And although, as a general rule, tapas have a lot of sausage and meat, there are fish and seafood tapas that are a delight.
We want to leave you some examples of what was a fabulous and tasty weekend with some of the establishments we usually work with (by the way, below, we leave the offers we have in Mariscos Apolo stores for the month of April) and that used Mariscos Apolo products for their culinary proposals. As you can see, cod, octopus, prawns and seafood in general have a special role.
- Gálvez Restaurant. Cucurucho of cod brandade with caramelized onion.
- Flati Restaurant. Spaghetti nest with sautéed seafood, white beans with cuttlefish.
- Alacena Restaurant. Black rice with cuttlefish and saffron aioli, eggplant confit with cod soaked.
- Taberna Cilantro. Cod toast with pil-pil on a bed of caramelized onion and hazelnut surprise.
- Café- Bar Quintana. Prawns with ajoarriero (garlic and garlic sauce).
- La Barrica Winery. Seafood weekends’.
- Cafeteria-Cervecería La Cueva. Cod toast with peppers.
- Bar-Restaurant Casa Espinar. Pork jowl with prawns and soft garlic cream, cod brandade and mango coulis with toasted garlic.
- Restaurant El Cerro. Stuffed eggs with prawns and caviar from Riofrío, cod with baby broad beans in pil-pil sauce.
- Café- Croissanteria Alhambra. Crunchy boletus and prawns with house sauce.
- Restaurant Paco Rama. Grilled octopus.
