Mariscos Apolo will be present again in Abades Stone Race 2019, the new edition of the most prestigious race of the Poniente Granadino and, with the passage of the editions, more important at Andalusian level. This race is already one of the classics of the Andalusian trail getting very high levels of participation and a whole party behind.
If anyone wonders where the “Stone” in the name of the race comes from, just take a look at the Sierra de Loja.
Loja and its orography
If Loja is beautiful, which it is, it is partly due to its geographical situation. Loja is a narrow valley bathed by the Genil under the Sierra de Loja and Monte Hacho. In that mountain range of limestone rock so large is where the trail competition that has become so famous over the years, which celebrates its sixth edition this year 2019, takes place.
We support the sport
In Mariscos Apolo we do not hesitate to support this race one more year for two reasons: We support sport and healthy lifestyle in which we emphasize the importance of good nutrition. On the other hand we want to bet on sports projects that have to do with Loja, our land and to which we owe so much, and as always, and even more taking into account the charitable nature of this race.
We want to show that in the Poniente Granadino there are not only great natural landscapes to be enjoyed through sport but we also know how to enjoy life with health.
This Sunday we were in the first race of the Abades Stone Race 2019, the 1/2 km vertical. We waited for the public and the participants with our Food Truck in the enabled area of the picnic area of Los Pinos and that’s how comfortable we were.
