The “Let’s join hands and give smiles” project carried out by the company Omarsa in Ecuador to improve the homes of its workers and collaborators has already begun to take shape in the homes of several people. We have recently received images of the improvements being carried out in the selected homes and these are some of the results:
Most of the houses now renovated were in a deplorable state, without windows installed, roofs in poor condition and in many cases, without a bathroom inside the house, having to leave the house to wash and even go to a neighbor’s house.
Among the improvements made, the following stand out:
- Improvement of the structure of the houses with concrete blocks.
- Improvement of the roofs.
- Installation of bathrooms inside the houses.
- Construction of septic tanks.
- Installation of laundry room in the kitchens.
- Installation of windows in the kitchens to improve ventilation.
- Improvement of home facades.
- Safe electrical installations in homes.
Thanks to this initiative, in which Mariscos Apolo has collaborated, employees, collaborators and their families have a more adequate home to live in, with a bathroom inside the house, good ventilation in the house and a safer structure. In this way we have cooperated in improving the quality of life and well-being of workers and collaborators in Ecuador.
We are very happy to have been able to be part of this great project, a project that is still in progress and we will keep a close eye on it to know the results it is giving and how we have been able to help in improving the housing of our Ecuadorian collaborators.
