The magazine Andalucía Económica has presented the new edition of the “Ranking of the 1200 largest companies in Andalusia”, among which is Mariscos Apolo.
The event was attended by the Minister of Economy, Knowledge, Enterprise and University of the Junta de Andalucía, Rogelio Velasco, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Andalucía Económica, Tomás de la Cruz.
Economic outlook
This is a recognition of the companies with the greatest potential spread throughout the different provinces of Andalusia. It serves to know the performance of the different productive sectors and the economy in general.
This ranking serves as an information forum for the Andalusian business network. From first to third place we find Cepsa, Endesa and Mercadona.
The coronavirus pandemic has had a great impact on this ranking and has and will have very harmful consequences for the economy.
However, despite the fall in many indicators such as GDP (10.4% drop), Andalusian companies have had a decline compared to other years but have come out of it with flying colors, as the performance has been better than that recorded at national level (+2%) and in the Eurozone (+1.2%).
Position of Mariscos Apolo
The sector in which Mariscos Apolo is located has been able to keep up with the circumstances that have been experienced, being a very powerful and dynamic sector in Andalusia.
Mariscos Apolo is in position 418 of the ranking of the 1200 large companies of Andalucía Económica as one of the companies with the highest turnover in 2020.
One of the objectives we have in Mariscos Apolo is to continue innovating and growing to offer quality products and be leaders in frozen products. In a year as difficult as 2020 has been, we feel very fortunate to appear in this ranking so valued in the Andalusian economy.
