Before buying frozen prawns, it is important to know that their appearance varies depending on the species. Among the best known is the tiger prawn, which is distinguished by the veins that border its body in darker tones. The common shrimp, which measures between 12 and 15 centimeters, has a pinkish tone, semi-hard shell and brown stripes. The white shrimp, so called because of its color, and the Atlantic shrimp, very similar to the common shrimp, are other varieties, among the many available in the market.
As for its nutritional value, this exquisite seafood stands out for its low fat and carbohydrate content. Its low calories make it an exceptional food to win the battle against the scales. It is also rich in B vitamins, related to metabolism, and D, antioxidant, in addition to its iron and omega 3 content, beneficial to avoid anemia and prevent cardiovascular diseases, respectively.

- Ola/Panama raw shrimp from the Panamanian company Ola, available in boxes of 800 grams, one and two kilos.
- Green box raw shrimp. The Apollo green box, with a weight of 800 grams, distinguishes the most affordable price. Thanks to the advances we have achieved in the preparation of the product at the place of origin, we are able to minimize costs, arriving in Spain with the same quality, but in record time and at a more economical price.
- Cooked tiger prawns in cases of 500 grams
- Jumbo tiger prawns in two kilos boxes. Known for its extra size and its transversal bands on the abdomen.
- Cooked shrimp in half kilo cases
- Raw white box shrimp, available in one kilo format.
- Loose raw shrimp. Pieces of excellent quality, ideal for use in the hotel and catering business, as well as in small stores, as it is a format that allows dispensing weight to the customer’s liking.
- Raw shrimp 60/80. This is loose shrimp in boxes of 5 kilos (each kilo contains between 60 and 80 pieces).
