Congelados Apolo’s new facilities are progressing at a fast pace

The year 2017 will undoubtedly be significant for Congelados Apolo. Not only because of the good reception and the strong international demand that the company is going through, but also because during this year we will begin to see the first fruits of the largest project in the history of our company: the new logistics center in the Manzanil II industrial park.

The main objective of this long-awaited challenge, with an investment of around 9 million euros, is to expand the production and storage system in order to respond in time, form and quality to the current customer portfolio, which includes well-known brands such as Carrefour, DANI, Comerco and Supermercados El Jamón, among many others. To this end, the new facilities – in addition to those already set up in the Manzanil I industrial park – will cover a total of 13,000 square meters, designed and equipped for future expansion stages.

From these new facilities, the staff, which will exceed by far the 130 people currently employed, will be able to work with total safety, comfort and professionalism: 13 transport docks, new order preparation area and offices with the latest technologies and a cold room equipped to store up to 3 million kilos of Apolo frozen products.

All this with the advantage of having great accessibility by road, being at the foot of the A92 highway and in the city of Loja in Granada, the nerve center to serve the rest of the Andalusian provinces.

Convinced that everything will go according to plan, those responsible for Congelados Apolo continue to bet heavily on its production, not only to grow nationally, but also to have a greater presence in the international market. In this way, and 5 years ahead, we have set ourselves the goal of increasing turnover by 70% to reach 50 million euros in turnover.

The new facilities will be a boost to complete the commercialization of Apolo frozen products. Under our signs of professionalism, honesty and quality, in the company founded in 1963, we will enjoy during this year one of our best milestones and moments, gaining momentum to always ensure one of our maxims: that the product reaches the final consumer in perfect conditions.
