Finally, we propose some delicious and creamy cod croquettes. It is a dish that never fails in any meal and it is a simple way to eat seafood, even for the youngest members of the family. Croquettes are the perfect option to share with our guests during the Christmas season.

To prepare them, we will make a cod base, to which we will add some bechamel sauce. With this mixture we will form small croquettes and we will pass them through breadcrumbs before frying them. Once fried, we will leave them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

– First course

We now move on to the first course, for which we propose a delicious seafood stew. To prepare it, we will need a mixture of seafood, we recommend prawns and hake. We will cook them in a frying pan with a little oil and garlic and then add fish stock and let it cook for 20-25 minutes.

To serve, place the seafood in the center and decorate with toasted bread. An easy recipe with which you will make your guests end up licking their fingers and dipping bread in the sauce.

– Second course

For the second course we recommend this recipe of flame grilled octopus with creamy potato. Octopus is one of those products that are always present at home at Christmas. In this preparation we propose a rich and different way to combine it.

For this recipe, while we let the octopus thaw, we will make the creamy potato soup by mashing the cooked potatoes and mixing them with butter and milk. Once the octopus has been grilled with a touch of heat with a blowtorch, we will plate it on top of the creamy potato sauce. A combination of textures and flavors that will not leave anyone indifferent.

As you have seen in these preparations, cooking with seafood is not complicated and even less following our variety of recipes. We hope that these preparations have solved part of your Christmas menu. This Christmas, the taste of the sea near you.
